VinWonders and the Safari, split over two easy days
Day one is Vinpearl Safari in the cool of the morning, with the animal show and a giraffe-side lunch, back at the hotel for an afternoon nap. Day two is VinWonders, with the aquarium and indoor halls in the hot middle of the day and the water park and rides either side.

The two parks sit in the same resort complex in the north-west of the island, and both are big. Vinpearl Safari covers more than 380 hectares with over 4,000 animals; VinWonders covers about 50 hectares in six zones with more than 100 games, a water park and an aquarium with over 300 marine species. On one day with small children, one of them gets rushed. Over two days, each gets the hours it needs.
This plan suits mixed ages. A three-year-old gets the Safari's Kid Zoo, feeding times and the bus through the semi-wild zone; a ten-year-old gets the water slides and the rides in Adventure World, which are for visitors over 140 cm. Parents get a hotel afternoon on day one.

Two days, block by block
Day 1 · 08:00
Hotel to Vinpearl Safari
The driver collects you. VinWonders and the Safari are about 33 km and 40 to 45 minutes from the airport, and about 25 km from Duong Dong; from a hotel in the south allow over an hour. The aim is to be at the gate at opening. The park's own page gives 09:00 to 16:00; one of its guides gives 08:30 with last entry at 15:00, so we confirm for your date.

The semi-wild zone by bus
Start with the safari zone while it is still cool. You ride a dedicated bus through areas where animals roam semi-wild; visitors stay inside, animals stay outside. Toddlers see well from a lap at the window. Mascot appearances run from 09:00 to 09:15 and 09:30 to 09:50 if you arrive early.

Animal show, then the open zoo on foot
Giraffe feeding at eye level from the platform
The animal show runs from 10:00 to 10:30 on the stage behind the Flamingo restaurant. Afterwards walk the open zoo. Giraffe, ring-tailed lemur and elephant feeding runs from 09:00 to 16:00, and the Kid Zoo Keeper activity, where children play keeper, runs from 10:30 to 12:00. Baby animals are on view at Kid Zoo all day. A zoo tram loop takes about two hours if small legs give out.
Day 1 · 12:00
Lunch with the giraffes, then out before the heat
The Giraffe restaurant sits inside the open zoo and serves rice and noodle dishes and fast food; the Flamingo and Rhino restaurants are the alternatives. By 13:00 to 13:30 we head back so younger children nap in the car and the family has the hot afternoon at the hotel.
Older children who want more can stay for the 14:00 to 14:30 show; one guide notes it does not run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Day 2 · 09:15
Hotel to VinWonders
A later start. VinWonders opens from 09:00 to 19:30 daily; its own family guide suggests arriving by 10:00 to 10:30 for lighter crowds. Strollers and wheelchairs are rented near the main entrance, and baby-change tables are in some toilets, mainly near the entrance.

Rides and water before midday
Kids' pool in Typhoon World before the sun is overhead
Children aged 3 to 12 start in Fantasy World; taller children head to the rides. The water park, Typhoon World, has 36 water rides over 4.5 hectares, a 175 m slide, and a kids' pool with more than ten games and slides. Children under 140 cm and under 14 years old must be with an adult throughout the park.

Indoors for the hot hours
Lunch at one of the park restaurants, then the indoor attractions: Sea Shell, about 40 minutes, and the aquarium with over 300 marine species. The mermaid show runs at 14:00 and 14:10 and the fish-feeding show from 15:00 to 15:15. The 4D cinema runs 30-minute shows from 10:30 to 18:00, and Fire Phoenix Square has indoor games for another hour.
Day 2 · 15:30
Second outdoor round and the evening show
As the sun drops, back to the water park or the Adventure World rides for taller children. The Once show runs from 18:45 to 19:05; the park closes at 19:30. The driver meets you at the gate and you are at the hotel by about 20:15 from the Duong Dong area.

Seniors over 60 pay the child price at both parks. The same price list shows a two-day ticket covering VinWonders, the Safari and the Teddy Bear Museum at Grand World for about 2,040,000 VND. With two days in the plan, the combo or the two-day ticket is usually cheaper than two single tickets; we price whichever is lower on your date.
Ticket bands on these parks go by measured height, not age. Staff measure at the gate, often with shoes on. A child of 99 cm and a child of 101 cm pay different prices, so we ask for heights, not ages.

Free VinBus routes also link the airport with Grand World for ticket holders, and an internal electric bus or tuk-tuk runs from Grand World to the Safari. Lockers, bags and the water park
A blogger who visited in August 2026 paid 150,000 VND per suitcase to leave luggage at the counter and rented a locker in the changing room against a deposit returned with the key and receipt. The same writer gives water-park hours of 10:00 to 17:30. Changing rooms are separate for men and women, with individual shower stalls. Treat these as a visitor's notes, not official rules.

If it rains
Rain hurts the Safari more than VinWonders. If day one looks wet, we swap the days: VinWonders' aquarium, 4D cinema and indoor games carry a rainy morning, and the Safari moves to the drier day. Walking the open zoo in heavy rain with small children is not worth the ticket. The rainy-day plan has the full list.

Who this plan is not for
- Families staying only two nights. Spending both days in the north leaves nothing for the beach or the south.
- Children who are frightened of large animals at close range; the semi-wild zone brings them close to the bus.
- Teenagers who only want thrill rides. VinWonders alone, in one day, serves them better and costs less.
- Anyone wanting a guide inside the parks. We arrange the car, tickets and plan, not an escort.

Questions travellers ask most
Can we see the Safari and VinWonders in one day?
Yes, with children over about eight who do not nap. Start at the Safari at opening, leave at noon, and spend the afternoon and evening at VinWonders. With toddlers it becomes a 12-hour day with no rest, which is why we sell it as two.
Is the Safari ethical?
We describe the park as it presents itself: an open zoo and a semi-wild zone toured by bus. Families with strong views on zoos should read the park's own material and decide; we do not push it.
Can we stay overnight near the parks instead?
Yes, and it saves two long drives. Several resorts sit along Bai Dai close to the complex. Tell us where you are booked and we shorten the plan accordingly.
Is there a night option at the Safari?
The park lists a Night Safari from 19:00 to 21:30, and one guide gives specific days of the week. We confirm whether it runs on your date before adding it.
